Our Research Group was founded in 2012 and is funded by the Volkswagen-Foundation (Lichtenberg-Professorship Program) and the German Research Foundation (DFG, Emmy-Noether Program). Our research is conducted in the context of the Cluster of Excellence (Prisma) and the Gutenberg Forschungskolleg.

Icon_2 Our Research Goal is the high precision measurement of the W boson mass with data of the ATLAS Experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider. This project involves the development of new particle detectors, based on Micromegas technology.

The Work Environment that we provide is unique and playful. Since you spend a significant part of your life in our labs, we try to make it as pleasant as possible.

Thesis Topics and Jobs: We are constantly seeking for talented and motivated students to join us for their bachelor-, master- or PhD-thesis. Have a look for more information about our research and job opportunities in our group on the following pages. And dont forget to visit also the homepage of ETAP.
